New Oral Supplementation to Reduce Sperm DNA Damage and Improve Male Fertility

Triferty-ATM

08 mayo, 2021

The study investigates a new oral supplementation based on the Ataxia-Telangiectasia-Mutated (ATM) gene repair pathway to reduce sperm DNA damage and improve semen parameters in infertile men. Three formulations were tested, including two containing curcumin and Ginkgo Biloba extract, measuring DNA damage levels and semen quality in 71 patients after 13 weeks. The formulation with the highest concentration of these compounds showed the greatest reduction in DNA double-strand breaks (27.1%) and improvements in sperm motility and concentration. The study concludes that activating the ATM pathway through specific supplementation may be an effective strategy to enhance male fertility.
